The Section Emergency Coordinator and Section Manager visited 14 Alabama field day sites this year.  Logging over 1000 miles we met many enthusiastic amateurs and saw some interesting field day setups and sites, but the fine welcome and hospitality was extraordinary at every site!  2004 Field day in Alabama was a success and many amateurs have a handle on emergency communications.  Many clubs and groups across the state braved the sun, heat, rain and bugs to take part in this event.
