Calhoun County - Anniston
Testing the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM. The testing session is located at the Anniston Rescue Squad Building, 210 W.14th Street, Anniston, AL. 36201, Calhoun County. Everyone is invited. Coffee County - Enterprise / Ozark
The Enterprise Amateur Radio Society provides amateur testing following every club meeting. The meetings are held the third Thursday of each month at 7 PM in Room S-100 of the Enterprise-Ozark Community College (Enterprise Campus). Those wishing a test need to contact Tom Barefoot, WA4YQT, at 334-763-0532 at least 24 hours in advance to schedule the appropriate test. (No meeting or testing in December due to our annual holiday dinner.)
Jefferson County - Birmingham
Birmingham Amateur Radio Club has their CAVEC test sessions on the first Sunday of each even numbered month at 2:00pm, registration is at 1:30pm. Contact K4NVJ for more information.
Lauderdale County - Florence

Lee County - Opelika
EAARC is affiliated with the ARRL/VE and hold test sessions monthly on the 3rd Tuesday at 6PM CT. The test sessions are held on hour before our normal club meeting at the Lee County EOC, located at 908 Avenue B in downtown Opelika. The EOC is located behind the courthouse. Mary Moore WX4MM is our lead VE and requests prior registration for testing due to having to arrange for testing volunteers to be available. Anyone wanting to test should contact Mary at wx4mm@tm-moore.com

Limestone County - Athens

testing sessions are held on the third Thursday and third Saturday alternating
every other month. Test times are 7:00 PM on Thursdays and 10:00 AM on

CAVEC VE's offer FCC exams every 2nd Monday in the month. Time is 6:30 P.M. Candidates should present photo ID, copy of licenses and CSCEs and the original of any current licenses and CSCEs. If no photo ID you will need 2 forms of identification. If you are upgrading, you will need a FRN(Federal Registration Number) Exam fee is $3.00.
